Pocketbook Pocketbook, made of cyanotypes on fabric is folded up and ironed to appear similar to a pocket square that has been embroidered, mended, and ironed with by a lover or partner. Made of cyanotypes of various objects found in pockets such as rocks, small toys, sunglasses, hair ties, safety pins, lighters, and cigarettes, the objects’s likeness is unfaithfully transferred to the fabric, leaving a ghost image of the objects. This leaves a bit of a game for the reader, deciphering what is what on the pages, trying to cement their guess in a sort of “I-Spy” type game.
